Use the Steampunk Top Hat SVG file to make a unique hat with a Steampunk theme. File includes the 3D hat SVG, the 3D goggles SVG and optional gears to decorate, as shown. The hat sits on an gift box that elevates the hat slightly.  Make the hat for any occasion too! Finished Hat is 6.7" x 6.7" x 4.4". It is 4.7" tall with box.

Cardstock/Paper Used:
(4) 12" x 12" cardstock sheets for hat structure and box
(2) 12" x 12" cardstock/paper sheets for hat panels
(1) 12" x 12" cardstock sheet for hat band, nose band and strap for goggles
(1) 8.5" x 11" cardstock sheet for goggles
(1) 8.5" x 11" metallic cardstock sheet for gears, including goggle gears
Small piece of acetate for "glass" in goggles
SVG files are letter-size compatible sizes, if ungrouped.

Products Used:

After order completion, you will be granted access to download the SVG file in ZIP format. The PDF file is included as a reference. See video for assembly. File includes SVGs with solid scorelines for compatible die cutting machines with scoring capability (i.e. Cricut).

    Can you please share where you got this pattern paper for the side panels.
    I really wish you would share the colors of the papers you use as well on all of the projects please.

      Hi, Casie.
      I do try and share the paper I use when I know the name. Unfortunately, the paper I used on that project was a paper I purchased over 10 years ago maybe. I have not seen it since I purchased it from a large box store. I now print most of my patterned paper. I have seen a few papers with the same look and feel online.     I had a lot of fun planning & making this great hat. I made faux leather by painting fabric to make the goggles & used a glue/painting technique to make the gears look like real metal. I also made some “metal” feathers to add. I’m going to make this into a clock when I find a movement I like.
