Just finished this and wanted to give to my husband who is just finishing building a garage. I did the paper cuts for the tools cuz I had trouble with figuring out Print and Cut; but they were pretty easy despite being small. Was going to wait til Father’s Day but that’s two months away! I couldn’t wait to give it to him because it came out so incredibly cute! Loving Sandy’s patterns!

I made this card for my dad’s new garage shop. He absolutely loved it. It didn’t take a lot of time, but looks like it would have. Great product.

Just finished this card and I love it and can’t wait to give it to my husband on Father’s Day. I added a message, using my Cricut to write it, on one of the front pieces

  4. Rachel Gibson

Pieces came out perfectly- my only issue is the slots for the tabs on the tool box are too small.

Thank you for your purchase! I am not sure what you mean. The only tabs are for that top section. They both fold back and the bottom tab fold should like up with a but mark and then the back tab attaches to the other side of the card, per the instructions. Once you lay the first tab, the other should fall in place. If you need additional assistance with that piece, just send us an email via or contact form, under Help on the website menu. Sandy

This is a great card. But, I’m trying to put it together and don’t know were the black and red squares pieces with slanted corners goes? Thanks.

    • Sandy

Thank you so very much! If you mean the larger red and black pieces with rounded corners, they are optional panels for the front of the card that were added later. If you still have questions, just send us an email via or contact form, under Help on the menu.

If you want to impress the “tool guys” and “mr fix-its” in your life, this is the card to do it. I purchased it with my two brother-in-laws in mind and they both loved them. It isn’t hard to make at all and for those little tools, I used both paper and Oracal vinyl. Vinyl has never failed me for tiny details. The silver vinyl is great to make that “stainless steel” pop on the red tool cabinet and on the tools.

Thank you! This is one of my cards with the most pieces, for sure. It is also one of my all-time favorite designs!
